Single People Of Bozeman, Is This A Deal Breaker?
We've all been on some bad dates in our lifetimes, but one thing consistently comes up as a deal-breaker, and I don't understand it.
A lot of dating these days starts on apps such as Tinder, Hinge, and Bumble, and it's a whole new world. People can learn about your hobbies, interests, and whether you prefer the beach or mountains before you've exchanged a word. While this information might help you find someone with similar interests, it's not the best way to get to know someone. Plus, there is one question that people will base their entire opinion of you off of.

One thing that is always brought up when I am on a date or when filling out a bio in an app is, what is your astrological sign? Astrology signs are assigned to people depending on what day of the year they were born. They used to be simple, but now astrology signs determine your mood, personality, and lifestyle. I don't care too much about your sign, but I know someone who does.
I was on a date a few years back with a lovely lady at the dearly missed Red Chair Bar & Restaurant. It was the first date, and we decided to have a few drinks and get to know each other better. We had been chatting for about an hour, and then my date brought up astrology signs.
I knew I might have been in trouble because according to some people, my sign is crazy, and no one wants to date us. So when she asked me what my sign was, I told her I am a Scorpio, and didn't think much of it. She stood up and promptly left the bar. I was stunned, and even the bartender asked if she left because of my astrological sign. I was so perplexed. Then a couple of days later, she texted me saying it wouldn't work out because she is a Taurus and I am a Scorpio.
So I must ask the people of Bozeman a question: Do you care about someone's astrological sign enough that it's a deal-breaker? I think it's a little unfair to judge someone depending on when they were born.
