I have seen this question on the rise lately and it's kinda unfortunate. We have all been the new kid in town at some point, whether it was when you were younger and your parents made you move, or heading to a new college and leaving all you know behind you.

Fortunately, you are somewhat "forced" into friendship in those situations, having to go to class with people with the same interests, having the same lunchroom, or even "go pick a partner" in the gym.

So for those of us beyond those years, let's just say 25-35 to keep it easy, being in a new place can be super difficult. Especially if you are moving to a place where people have "established" friendships.

I saw on Reddit the other day a post:

I am 27, and not new to the area, but have come to the conclusion post covid I have no friends left who live in Bozeman. I have tried going to a few local hangouts, and have been asked on dates, but have had minimal success in just making a nice platonic friendship. In particular, I am looking for someone who would like to go hiking this summer who doesn’t mind dogs. -Reddit User

There are 48 comments helping this Reddit User out with finding some cool, platonic friends. I didn't realize there were so many cool groups in Bozeman to be a part of, hiking groups, biking groups, and BumbleBFF (that's an app). Not to mention, all the comments were super kind. Way to go Bozeman!
