The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning again on Tuesday for the Bozeman area. The warning will be in effect from noon today thru 9 p.m. tonight because of hot temps, evening lightning, and a mix of wet and dry thunderstorms with gusty and erratic winds.

According to the National Weather Service, a Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.

The weather forecast for Tuesday in the Bozeman area calls for partly cloudy skies and high temps around 85.
