Popular Montana Retailer Has Massive Recall. Here’s The Details
Everyone loves a good scent. There is a scent for every season; cinnamon and pumpkin for the fall, candy cane and cookies for the winter, rain and fresh cut grass for summer, you get the picture.
Sometimes a scent will bring you back to a time in your life that you either love or hate. I had a teacher that always smelled like sunflower seeds, pleasant? Not so much, but that smell brings me back literally 30 years.
Target has an array of scents for you to choose from, and unfortunately, if you happened to order online or purchase in-store a Threshold Glass Jar candle from Target, you will want to contact Target for an immediate refund.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled candles and return them to any Target store for a full refund or contact Target to receive a prepaid return label to return the candles by mail -CPSC
On May 18th, Target along with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, announced the candle is being recalled due to the jar cracking during use. This could cause a person to get burns and cuts while the candle is in use.
There were almost 5 million candles produced from 2019-2023 that could be part of the recall.
What to look for:
Threshold Glass Jar 5.5 ounce 1-Wick, 14-ounce 3-Wick, and 20-ounce 3-Wick Candles in multiple scents.
You can find the recalled item number printed on the bottom of the glass jars.
