Looks like Pitbull can put his checkbook away since Lindsay Lohan's lawsuit against him was dropped on Thursday.

When the Miami rapper released 'Give Me Everything,' in 2011, he gave no thought to the lyrics that would push Lohan to call her lawyers. The Hollywood starlet took offense to the line: "I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan."

The reference to the actress and rap sheet prompted her to file the lawsuit, citing that Pitbull never asked to use her name in the song and she thought it to be unfair that he was making money from it.

The documents state that the reference to Lohan, "causes [Lindsay] to be associated and identified in connection with defendants." In all fairness, Lohan had been a defendant quite a few times at that point.

According to TMZ, on Thursday, a New York federal judge dismissed the case stating that the song was protected under the First Amendment -- freedom of speech. The fact that Lohan was mentioned in only half a bar helped in the decision as well.
