My only wish is that there were more people there to see this amazing concert.

This past Saturday, August 12 I had the amazing chance to see rock/pop band Paramore perform live at the Montana Fair in Billings inside the Rimrock Auto Arena. So, I thought I would give you guys a little bit of a glimpse into what I experienced, and if you go to a Paramore show, this is what you should expect.

First off, the opener for Paramore was this singer/guitarist Julien Baker. She was definitely in the vein of indie rock and was really amazing but all her songs were slow tempo and definitely made me a bit sleepy. That's nothing against her songs, I think it's because I only had about five hours of sleep from the night before. Her music is fantastic and I honestly think you should check her out as well.

After Julien Baker performed, it took about 20 minutes for them to get ready for Paramore. From the very beginning, Paramore brought the energy up and kept it there for the rest of the show. They opened with "Told You So" from their new album After Laughter that they released earlier this year and went from hit to hit from their awesome 10-year career.

Then, towards the end of their show, they were performing a song that propelled them to stardom and that was "Misery Business" and they actually brought a fan on stage to sing part of the song. This is a tricky situation because the fan usually kills the part or will absolutely blank and mess up. Luckily, for everyone in Billings, this local girl absolutely killed it. She danced and sang on stage with Paramore and will never forget this awesome experience.

The only thing that made me sad about the show was that the arena was only about filled maybe to half capacity. This was an amazing show that a lot of people missed out on. If you ever get the chance to see Paramore live, do it, you will not regret going to their concert.
