Netflix Is Making a Series on Montana Writer’s Memoir
The Missoulian has announced that Netflix is going to be creating a series from Stephanie Land's memoir, "Maid:Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother's Will to Survive".
The Netflix series will be produced by Oscar-nominated actress Margot Robbie(Suicide Squad, Wolf of Wall Street) and two producers of the show Shameless.
The story is about how Land's life in her 20's when she had an unplanned pregnancy and supported herself by cleaning houses and living on government assistance and then moved to Missoula to go to school.
With the streaming wars between Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and so many others heating up, original content will be at an all time premium.
We can't wait to see who and when the series will premiere.
