Governor Steve Bullock has extended Montana's 'Stay At Home' directive to slow the spread of COVID-19 to Friday, April 24th. He made this announcement at a press conference on Tuesday.

The extension of the 'Stay At Home' directive did not come as a surprise to most people. (President Trump has already extended the NATIONAL Slow The Spread campaign through the end of April.)

Governor Bullock also encouraged people to wear masks (surgical type cloth masks or other protective masks) while out in public places such as the grocery stores.

This extension of the Stay at Home directive through April 24th includes:

  • closure of non-essential businesses
  • closure of the dinning room portions of restaurants and bars
  • closure of casinos
  • closure of schools
