It was announced earlier this month that Montana State University's head coach, Danny Sprinkle was going to be moving on.

Coach Matt Logie comes from NCAA Division II Point Lona, out of San Diego. His holds a previous record of 82-23 with three PacWest Conference championships, which is not too shabby.

Logie has been a head coach for 12 years with an overall career record of 276-58, an average win percentage of .826 which makes Logie the third-best among active coaches at four-year schools.

Logie will be the 24th head coach for Montana State University Basketball.

Coach Sprinkle will be missed by the community of Bozeman, but we wish him the best of luck as he heads to Utah for a new adventure. Sprinkle had been with MSU for the past 4 years, and his coaching experience was clear as the men's basketball team was incredibly successful while Coach Sprinkle was in charge.

Sprinkle led his last season at Montana State University with a 25-10 record which ends up being a .710 win percentage. A home win record of 12-10, on the road the men were 10-5, and a neutral win of 3-4.
