On Wednesday morning, 733 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Montana. It marks the second consecutive day that Montana has set a single-day record for new cases. The numbers reported Wednesday morning reflect testing and cases from Tuesday, October 6, 2020.

On Tuesday, October 6, Montana set a single day COVID-19 record with 495 new cases. The new cases reported Wednesday exceed that number by more than 200 cases.

Missoula County had the most new COVID-19 cases reported Wednesday morning with 211. Yellowstone County reported 116 new cases, and Gallatin County reported 48.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the total number of tests administered in Montana is 376,176, including 3,456 new tests.

There are currently 5,352 active COVID-19 cases in Montana with 235 active hospitalizations. 10,518 people have recovered, and 193 people have died.
