Michael Lohan Arrested In Domestic Dispute, Police Say

I'm not sure why I have any opinion, at all, on Michael Lohan.  Why I have wasted a second thinking about the Lohan clan is boggling to me, but in all honest,  I have spent time reading about them, and my thought is that Michael Lohan, for one, should have a job that requires time out of his day which in return the media wouldn't be able to talk to him, making him feel like he is anybody important.  For two, he's been arrested so I truely hope that this means that this leach of a person can be put away.

Los Angeles (CNN) -- The father of actress Lindsay Lohan was arrested in connection with a domestic dispute, authorities said Tuesday.

Michael Lohan, 50, was arrested late Monday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department's West Hollywood Station said in a statement.

Deputies arrested him on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant; false imprisonment; and preventing the report of victimization, the statement said, all felony charges.

Bail was set at $200,000, the statement said, but it was unclear whether Lohan was jailed as of Tuesday morning. Authorities said he was booked at the West Hollywood Station and taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after he complained of "a medical condition not related to the incident."

The sheriff's department did not identify the alleged victim. But Kate Major, Lohan's former fiancee, told CNN she was the victim. "I can confirm but barely type," Major wrote in an e-mail. "No other comment."
