Justin Bieber really likes performing for people who have no idea he's going to be there. He recently sang the Boyz II Men hit "I'll Make Love to You" for a group of surprised hotel patrons, which lit a fire within him to do it again -- this time at an Italian restaurant with special guest Cody Simpson.

According to MTV, Justin and Cody showed up at Hollywood restaurant The Nice Guy this past Monday (June 1) to serenade diners with a rendition of their duet "Home to Mama." They also reportedly covered Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" and Edwin McCain's "I'll Be."

It's a good thing Justin's good friends Hailey Baldwin and Madison Beer were there to capture the covers on video, because otherwise this would all just be hearsay. You can check out a dimly lit (and poorly filmed) video of "Home to Mama" above.

Whether this impromptu performance has anything to do with a possible release of that duets album we were promised long ago by Cody and Justin, we're not sure. But we'll forever remain hopeful that that album will someday be released. Because what's the point of living on this planet if we don't get to hear those undoubtedly beautiful collaborations at some point in our lives?

We also wonder where Justin will pop up next. Fans better stay vigilant, because before you know it, he'll be singing an acoustic version of "As Long As You Love Me" at a local Dairy Queen, just because he can.
