Look! Fantastic Americana Band Plans Special Montana Show
There are some songs that everyone seems to know the words to. "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond is one that instantly comes to mind. Certain songs are incredibly catchy and have become staples in pop culture.
In 2013, country artist Darius Rucker released a cover of the song "Wagon Wheel", a song that was originally co-written by Bob Dylan in 1973. The original song was never released. Most people never heard the song until it was completed by Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show. Secor wrote new verses, but still used the original chorus recorded by Dylan.
Wagon Wheel is arguably one of the most recognizable songs in Americana music, and Darius Rucker's cover introduced the song to millions of country music fans. It also introduced music lovers to Old Crow Medicine Show. You can listen to the song below.
