Is This The Perfect Spot For This Popular Restaurant In Bozeman?
A few weeks back, folks all over Bozeman were talking about the potential for Chick-fil-A coming to town.
Now, if you've never dined at one of the popular chicken restaurants, you might be asking yourself, what's the big deal? However, the chain has a huge following, in fact, people are known to camp out in line while waiting for the doors to open for the first time.
So, needless to say when certain media outlets started reporting that they were going to build a restaurant here in Bozeman, well people got excited.
In fact, one of the television stations actually sent out a reporter to stand right off of 19th and I-90 all morning long and they would cut to him every 20 minutes or so talking about how that was the area Chick-fil-A was planning on building. Except, the City of Bozeman said they didn't know anything about it, and Chick-fil-A said that they were exploring a Bozeman location in the next few years.
So, why am I re-capping all of this?
Well, I think we might have a new theory started by me, that has absolutely no facts behind it at all, but it sure does make a whole lot of sense. Just hear me out on this one before you dismiss it, ok?
If you were going to build a Chick-fil-A in Bozeman, where would the perfect location be? Well, I can think of a couple. Somewhere near campus, or right off the interstate. First, the campus location would be great for the MSU students, but kind of a pain for the rest of the town, so I think we can rule that one out.
So, that leaves the interstate.
Am I the only one that found it interesting that they recently shut down the Bozeman Rest Stop right off of 19th and I-90? Apparently, the reason for the closing was the deterioration of facilities, however, I live a few blocks from that area and I would see people there all the time, so that didn't make sense...or did it?
Could this be the 19th and I-90 location for the new Bozeman Chick-fil-A?
I mean think about it, it's the perfect location as there is easy access from not only 19th but both east and westbound lanes on I-90. It's totally visible, so it would stick out like a sore thumb. Plus, literally, tens of thousands of vehicles pass it every day. It seems like it makes a whole lot of sense if you ask me.
Of course, once again this is all speculation and there are absolutely no facts to back it up, but I certainly wouldn't be surprised if we see something there...ya know, in the next few years or so.
