Iggy Azalea Returns With ‘Mo Bounce’, Gifts Us With Twerking GIFs
Iggy Azalea has released "Mo Bounce," following a lengthy Instagram preview on Wednesday (March 22). The track is Iggy's first solo single in nearly a year since buzz-track-attempt "Team" — which peaked at No. 42 on the Billboard Hot 100 — and signals another major step on the long, setback-peppered road to her Digital Distortion sophomore album. Listen below.
The track is produced by the Stereotypes, who produced Bruno Mars' "That's What I Like" and "24K Magic," and Far East Movement (yes, of "Like a G6" fame). Intermittently switching up its beat, at times "Mo Bounce" aims to be something of a pop cousin to the New Orleans bounce music genre — and not a musical sequel to "Bounce," the divisive closing track off The New Classic reissue Reclassified.
