As a large American, I am naturally a lover of bacon. It is pretty much the perfect addition to any meal. Growing up in Idaho, bacon or sausage was almost guaranteed every morning at breakfast.

One of the worst things that can happen when you're cooking breakfast is accidentally overcooking the bacon or burning it. Bacon smells delicious, but burnt bacon; not so much. After years of cooking bacon in a frying pan, I discovered the magic of cooking bacon in the oven. There's a lot less cleanup, and the bacon comes out perfect every time. No more burnt bacon!

First, line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Next, place bacon evenly on baking sheet. I have a bacon rack that I set on top of my baking sheet so that the bacon is elevated slightly. Set oven to 400 degrees, and place bacon on center oven rack. Cook for 15-25 minutes, or until bacon is done to your liking. Enjoy!
