Idaho’s Earthquake Hotspot is Still Rumbling Today
2 more small quakes rumbled near Challis, Idaho after dozens of others shook the area in the last couple of weeks.
Some days have had just a few quakes while other days have experienced over a dozen small quakes in one 24 hour period.
The quakes in this particular area (near Challis and Cascade, ID) have been frequent but small. Almost all of them between 2.0 and 3.0 magnitude, but a few have been more significant with over 3.0 magnitude.
The quake hotspot area is quite rural.
