Our weekly check-in with this active area shows another eight small earthquakes in the last 24 hours. DOZENS of earthquakes have rattled central Idaho in recent weeks and although not rare, the number of quakes is far more than normal.

Early Wednesday morning around 5:53 a.m., a 2.9 magnitude earthquake was reported near Manhattan, Montana.

Not just one or two earthquakes but let's say triple digits of earthquakes. That's pretty insane.
