Bars and restaurants will still have to operate at 50% capacity, maximum of six people per table and must have masks on while entering and until seated.

This is a step in the right direction for businesses to get back to a sense of normalcy and a great sign of potentially bringing back fun events downtown such as Music on Main, even though we are a long way off from that.

For months bars and restaurants have had to close at 10 PM every single day and many businesses had a huge problem with that time because the late night crowds on the weekends were the ones that always raised sales. Plus, with the 10 PM mandate many places had to cut staff due to the shortened hours.

If this process goes well with the bars and restaurants staying opened till 2 AM we might see capacity go up as well in the near future.
