Here’s What I’m Doing For Mother’s Day
Mother's Day is upon us and some folks might have not made plans yet on what they might be doing on Sunday but I am letting you know now you might want to make plans ahead of time because last minute things never work.
So Mother's Day is coming up Sunday, May 8th and I am the kind of person who likes to plan ahead because if I can get something done ahead of time, then the day of the event I can just let everything go to plan and not worry. I usually buy Christmas presents for my family two to three months ahead of time because that is who I am.
So here's the thing, my siblings and I were talking about what we were going to do for our dad's birthday, which is in June, and we realized we could do a combo gift for both our dad for his birthday and also give the same present to our mother for Mother's Day because they are always together and love doing activities with each other.
My siblings and I decided because both of my parents are huge sports people and the Missoula Paddleheads are back this season, we are buying a five game package for them to go to games this summer. This was a great idea by my brother because we grew up going to Missoula Osprey (their old name) games and we would always have a great time. Dad would watch and read the program to learn about each player and mom would just watch and enjoy eating peanuts. Plus, this is a great way to get them out of the house and enjoy the outdoors.
Listen, Mother's Day is a holiday that sometimes gets overlooked and it shouldn't because showing just a little appreciation to your mom can go a long way. Whether buying flowers, getting them a gift or by just showing up and giving them a hug they always appreciate it.
Hope you all have an incredible Mother's Day.
