The Gallatin Valley Mall announced on Friday that it will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. According to their press release, the Mall has closed its doors on Turkey Day for the past four years and received overwhelming support from retailers and customers for doing so.

On Black Friday, the GVM will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with some stores even opening at 6 a.m. To promote social distancing during our current COVID-19 pandemic, the Mall says that some retailers will be offering "Black Friday" deals during the entire month of November.

The GVM says they are "committed to continuing to diligently keep the shopping center clean and sanitary and have increased the frequency and extent of those cleanings, especially on high-touch surfaces."

As a service to customers, mall customers will find additional hand sanitizing stations when they shop, and complimentary face masks will be provided at Guest Services. Gallatin Valley Mall Assistant Manager, Erin Brester, states: “This year more than ever, an enjoyable holiday will be inseparable from a safe and healthy one, and we’re continuing to adjust our plans to deliver safety, convenience, and the joy of the season."

Mall hours are 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Some select retailers will stay open until 8:00 p.m. Sunday mall hours are 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

If you missed it, last month the Gallatin Valley Mall revealed that Whole Foods will become part of the mall soon. Phase One of the building has already begun.
