We all feel the need for speed on occasion.

Car racing is exciting for the whole family. It doesn't matter whether you like NASCAR, F1, or rally car racing because it's nonstop action for hours to enjoy.

It's impressive to see these drivers race cars at high speeds, maneuver through tight corners, avoid their competition, and somehow not crash. It's fun to watch.

Most of the time, you have to watch professional races online or on cable, but what if you wanted to watch something more local?

Several raceways across Montana offer races weekly, but do you know about the one in the Gallatin Valley?

The Gallatin Speedway kicked off its season this past weekend, and we are in for a summer of incredible races.

There are races every Friday throughout the summer through early September. There are a few weekends with races on Friday and Saturday. Check out the schedule.

As someone who has been to the track a few times during his life in Bozeman, the speedway is a blast for everyone.

Tickets are very affordable for the whole family, and it's hours of nonstop racing. One perk is all the giveaways the speedway offers to kids during the intermissions between races.

The speedway is just as fun for adults. There is fantastic food, and the beer prices are cheap.

The Gallatin Speedway is the biggest racetrack in Southwest Montana. Grab your friends or family and have a fun night out.
