Honestly, this is probably going to be a fantastic move for the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office and be a perfect fit.

KBZK is reporting that the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office has purchased the Zero-In Indoor Shooting Center in Four Corners and will move a large portion of his department into the building.

We even talked about the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office looking at the property just a few weeks ago. Things sometimes move quickly when it's a good fit.

This is a fantastic purchase for the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office not only because they got the giant 25,000 square foot building for a great price, but no longer will the Gallatin County Sheriff's Officers have to drive out to Logan for shooting practice, they can do it in their new building. Plus, they are also on 4.5 acres of land and could add even more structures if they need expansion.

The biggest reason for the move is that the Law and Justice Center in Bozeman was getting a little cramped with both of the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office and Bozeman Police operating in the same vicinity. The building just wasn't big enough for the both of them.

This is a great move by the Gallatin County Sheriff's Department in my opinion. They will have a more centralized location in Gallatin County between Belgrade and Bozeman. Plus, now they will be able to get to Manhattan and Three Forks faster as well.
