The Arizona Cardinals have signed a tight end to the roster who carries a familiar name around the Bozeman area.

Former Montana State Bobcat Beau Sandland has been inked to a one-year deal with the Cardinals.

The 6-foot-5, 255 pound Sandland was a 2016 seventh round draft pick of the Carolina Panthers. He ended up spending that season on the practice squads of the Panthers and the Green Bay Packers.

Sandland was eventually cut from Green Bay's roster during the 2017 training camp.

Sandland was a prolific pass catcher for the Bobcats during his senior year, hauling in 37 passes for over 600 yards and 9 touchdowns.
