Fixing the Shortage: Bozeman Post Office Job Fair
We've all read about or experienced the problems recently with mail service in the Bozeman area. Staffing shortages have been affecting mail sorting and delivery, but hopefully this week's USPS job fair will help fix the issue.
Funny side note: There was a significant amount of time that I wanted to be a postal carrier when I grew up. We loved our carrier, and as a kid...seeing someone every day that waved and said hello while delivering that wonderful pile of mail somehow builds one of the first bonds you have as a kid, other than your parents or your friends. (Our mail man's name was Frank and I'll never forget that guy. So nice.)
If you or someone you know is looking for a job, there will be a big Bozeman Post Office job fair this week on Wednesday and Thursday at the Baxter Lane location. Decent wages and good benefits should be an attractive draw. They are looking to hire postal clerks and carriers out on the routes. Here's the low-down:

- WHEN: (Wednesday and Thursday) July 27th and 28th.
- TIME: 10 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. both days.
- WHERE: Bozeman Post Office located at 2201 Baxter Lane, Bozeman, MT.
