Firefighters Get Paid Better in Montana Than Bordering States

This is really cool to see.

HowMuch.net, using the statistics from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, compiled a list of the average salary of firefighters in every state and Montana is actually one of the better states to be a firefighter.

Montana's median annual salary for a firefighter is just above $50,000. That's better than surrounding states Idaho, Wyoming, North and South Dakota.

They say in the report that it might be higher in states like Washington, California and Montana due to the wildfires.
