Fall Sports Plan Announced by Montana High School Association
There are a lot of details and they want to make sure they are keeping all of their student athletes safe during the coronavirus pandemic.
406 MT Sports is reporting that the Montana High School Association has laid out directives, requirements and have a five tier system for fall sports in 2020.
As of right now everything is in Tier 1, where everything is schedules as planned and will go forth.
The Montana High School Association go into details such as invitational events are barred for football, volleyball, and soccer but are OK for cross country and golf.
Also, the Montana High School Association is leaving the fan attendance up to the schools with the recommendations from the local health boards.
This is a great plan so far but if students start testing positive for COVID-19, the Montana High School Assocation will then move into Tier 2, 3, 4, or 5.
There are more requirements including every player, coach and trainer have their own beverage container that is not to be shared and they also go into detail about masks and when they should be worn.
The Montana High School Association then goes into detail on each sport on what needs to happen with timeouts, substitutes and more.
This is a great plan that the Montana High School Association has laid out and all of the requirements, directives and tiers are extremely well laid out to protect not only the student athletes but the coaches as well.
Hopefully we can get back to some kind of normalcy this fall and have some high school sports with this incredible plan laid out.
