Evacuation warnings turned into evacuation orders Tuesday for several hundred residents living near the Clark Fork River in Missoula.

The Missoula County Sheriff's Office shot this video on Sunday. The water has risen several feet since it was taken.

The Clark Fork, which courses through downtown Missoula and past the University of Montana campus, could eventually threaten between 800 and 1,300 homes before it crests on Friday, National Weather Service meteorologist Alex Lukinbeal said.
