Things aren't looking too good for Diddy. After initiating a skirmish with one of his son's football coaches at UCLA, Diddy was released from jail late Monday night (June 22).

According to the Associated Press, the rap mogul was arrested because he was accused of using a kettlebell against a UCLA football coach. It was reported that one of the coaches was constantly berating Diddy's son, Bruins' defensive back Justin Combs, to the point an irate Puff went nuts.

Officials say that the 45-year-old music executive posted a $50,000 bail and was freed on his own recognizance. The victim hasn't been named nor identified and no one was seriously injured, said campus police in a statement.

To make matters worse, TMZ is reporting that the police have tacked on more charges to Puff. Apparently, the Bad Boy Records founder was allegedly making terroristic threats during the altercation. Diddy is now facing three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery.

UCLA coach Jim Mora issued a statement regarding the inopportune situation. "This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved," he said. "While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time."

Diddy's son, Justin Combs, is currently a red-shirt junior defensive back, who hasn't seen much action since joining the Bruins football team.

Diddy or his representatives had no comment on the matter.
