Two Montana Airports Will Have A Special Jet From Delta
Could this be a sign of Delta Airlines trying some new things out?
Summer is the time of year when most of Montana's airports see a massive increase in traffic.
Airports in Bozeman, Missoula, Kalispell, and Bililngs see more than double the amount of passengers during any other time of the year. Other airports around Montana don't know the type of traffic the big four cities see during the year.
Airports in Helena, Butte, and others will have a handful of flights they deal with daily.
These airports usually deal with smaller planes that only cover smaller distances.
How do we know this? One airline will use one of their retired planes to help service a few routes, including two Montana airports.
The Points Guy reports Delta Airlines will use one of their retired regional jets to help service routes at two Montana airports.
Butte and West Yellowstone airports will use this jet for their trips to and from Salt Lake City.
This tiny 50-person economy jet is perfect for these trips and will give many travelers access to different parts of Montana.
Is there a downside to this news?
This small jet is known as one of the most uncomfortable airplanes today.
These jets have smaller overhead compartments and no Wi-Fi. These planes are also known for their incredibly tiny bathrooms.
We don't think these planes have a first-class option for customers because of their size.
Many of Montana's airports have direct flights to and from Salt Lake City, but if you want to get to Butte or West Yellowstone to not deal with a commute, you might have to take a chance and book this flight.
