Crews Begin Clearing Beartooth Highway [WATCH]

The Beartooth Highway, between Red Lodge to the Wyoming state line, is one of the most scenic drives in the summer.  However, before we can enjoy its great view of Granite Peak crews have to clear the abundant amount of snow that collects along the Beartooth Pass.

Beartooth Pass on U.S. Route 212 is currently closed but expected to open by the Friday of Memorial Day weekend.   Watch crews in the video below clear a drift that is estimated to be about 18 feet tall.
