Craving Italian? This Restaurant Has The Best Lasagna in Montana

When we think of Italian food, pasta, pizza, or my favorite—gnocchi—usually comes to mind. However, there is one other classic dish that I don't think gets enough credit.

Lasagna is a dish that might seem rather ordinary when it comes to Italian cuisine, but if done right, it can top the list. How can you say no to layers of sauce, meat, pasta, and cheese? So where in Montana serves the best lasagna?

According to Lovefood, the best lasagna in Montana is down the road in Helena, at the restaurant On Broadway. On Broadway is a Helena icon, and has an incredible menu, but folks mostly rave about their Italian fare. On Broadway lasagna includes spicy Italian sausage, ground tenderloin meat sauce, and three different types of cheese. That sounds fantastic. What if you don't want to travel to Helena for lasagna? 

There are several Italian restaurants in the Bozeman area, but surprisingly few have lasagna on their menu right now. Cafe Fresco, located on Mendenhall Avenue, serves a classic lasagna, using a bolognese sauce with bechamel. They offer a single serving, or you can order a family serving if you want to share it with a few friends. 

Lasagna is a dish to be shared with friends or family, and one that deserves more love. Who's feeling lasagna tonight?
