Bozeman High School on Lockdown Earlier Today
Bozeman High School was put on lockdown shortly before 11 a.m. Friday, according to Bozeman Police Chief Steve Crawford.
The lockdown lasted for approximately 45 mintues. It was lifted after officials determined there was not a threat to students.
School officials notified the Bozeman Police Department after detecting a threatening message. Bozeman High School uses a program that notifies them when offensive or threatening language is used on school computers. The lockdown was taken as a precautionary measure, and the Bozeman Police Department is continuing the investigation into the matter.
