Two Airlines Announce Big Plans For Bozeman in 2023

It's never too early to plan trips out of the Bozeman airport. There are so many quality flights to great destinations. 

The Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport dominates Montana when it comes to air travel. Almost three times more passengers travel through the Bozeman Airport than through Montana's second busiest airport. The Bozeman airport has great destination options every day, from Los Angeles to New York.

The Bozeman airport was the first airport in Montana to carry popular budget airlines like Southwest and JetBlue. Montanans travel from all over the state to fly out of Bozeman because it's cheaper than flying out of their closest airport, and provides them with more options. 

So when we saw this news about some new developments at the Bozeman airport, we weren't surprised. 

Budget airlines Allegiant and Sun Country have big plans in 2023; they'll expand several of their flight options out of Bozeman. Sun Country only operates out of the Bozeman airport during the summer and has direct flights to and from Minneapolis. They plan on increasing flights to and from Minneapolis from twice a week to four times a week.

Allegiant Airlines announced they will be increasing the frequency of their flights to Nashville from twice a week to four times a week as well. Nashville is one of the most popular flights out of Bozeman airport. 

Allegiant also announced they will be bringing back their flight to Austin, Texas in the summer and will be adding more weekday flights to Las Vegas and Phoenix. 

2022 has been a record year at the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, and 2023 is gearing up to be even bigger. Plan your trips early and have fun.
