Montana Football Stars
Montana isn't known for producing massive football stars.
There have been a few standouts like Troy Andersen and Will Dissly, but nothing like a superstar.
Montana has produced some incredible college football talent on the defensive side of the ball, but it's rare for skilled offensive players.
The one football position that gets overlooked has to be quarterback.
Famous Montana Quarterbacks
Montana hasn't had the best success in producing incredible quarterback talent.
There have been two incredible standouts, Ryan Leaf and Brock Osweiler.
Ryan Leaf was a standout from Great Falls that played at Washington State University. He was a Heisman runner-up and was the #2 overall pick in the NFL draft that featured future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning.
Brock Osweiler played high school football at Flathead High in Kalispell and originally committed to play basketball at Gonzaga before pivoting to play football at Arizona State.
He played a few standout seasons and continued his career in the NFL after being picked in the second round of the NFL Draft for the Denver Broncos. He helped them make the playoffs and win Super Bowl 50.
There might be another sensational quarterback in Montana that could make headlines.

Presley has been offered scholarships at programs like Washington State, Boise State, Missouri, Arkansas, and more.
One program might have an advantage over the others. That would be the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Why would they have an advantage? Their offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach is from Big Sky Country.
Bobby Petrino was born in Lewistown and played college football at Carroll College before starting his successful college football coaching career.
Petrino can relate to Presley being from Montana, and he has an opportunity you don't see often for many Montana high school football players.
That is to play in the SEC.
The SEC is the top college football conference in America, and Presley could see how he stacks up with the best talent in America.
Presley still has a lot of time to decide where to play college football, but he will have a fantastic opportunity to play where it's best for him.
