Best Sports Bar in Montana is Surprising

Let's be honest here, one of the sports bars in the two biggest college towns should have been the choice instead. That's just my opinion though.

MSN Lifestyle came out with a list of the Top Sports Bar in Every State and I'll be honest, I have been to this spot and I've seen better in Montana. Apparently, the top sports bar in Montana is Hooligan's Sports Bar in Billings.

Hooligan's Sport's Bar is a popular spot in downtown Billings and the few times I have been there in Billings it's a pretty happening place but there are so many other better spots to choose from especially in Bozeman or Missoula. The two places where the biggest colleges in Montana are.

In Bozeman, the top sports bars are pretty obvious. You have the Rocking R Bar downtown, Spectator's Lounge up by the MSU Campus and the Cat's Paw. Those spots are always packed on big sports days. From Bobcat football or basketball and are even more busy on big events like UFC fights.

Then in Missoula you have the Missoula Club and Red's Bar. Both are classic staples of Missoula and are known to be where Griz fans will go to watch games college and professional.

Listen, even Butte and Helena have some pretty awesome sports bars but for some reason they chose Hooligan's in Billings. I think MSN Lifestyle missed the mark on this and a lot of folks would probably agree with me.
