Lovefood made a list of Every State's Most Delicious Milkshakes, and the pick for Big Sky Country was a place that wasn't on our radar. Lovefood believes that the most delicious milkshake is the Huckleberry Shake from Norm's Soda Fountain in Kalispell. 

Norm's Soda Fountain is an iconic Kalispell business that is also filled with classic candy and a sit-down diner. Norm's will transport you back to a time when soda fountains were the only place to get a classic shake and a burger. 

Does Norm's have the best milkshake? As a connoisseur myself, we have a few alternate options you should consider. 

In Missoula, Big Dipper Ice Cream has a classic ice cream stand, and their milkshake flavors are fantastic. The Big Dipper offers classic flavors, but also has specialty flavors like Pecan Pie or Mint Oreo. Plus, Big Dipper has locations in Helena and Billings. 

If you don't want to travel too far for a quality milkshake, you are in luck. Bozeman has high-quality ice cream shops that all offer milkshakes. At Sweet Peaks, they have an addicting Madagascar Vanilla, but the specialty flavors include something called Santa's Snack. 

There is also Genuine Ice Cream here in Bozeman, that can make Salted Caramel or Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk milkshakes. You might have to wait to have one until they open a new downtown Bozeman location. 

Plus, if you love local, Wilcoxson's Ice Cream is offered at many restaurants and candy shops in the area. The sheer amount of flavors to make milkshakes will have you making a difficult decision.
