Every year one of the first signs of Fall in Belgrade is the annual Fall Festival. The event traditionally hosts a well-attended parade, car show, inflatables for the kids, arts and crafts, a pancake breakfast, BBQ, and more. But this year, due to concerns of COVID-19 and restrictions, the Belgrade Fall Festival has been canceled.

In June the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce decided to cancel the BBQ and park activities.  They were still hoping and planning on hosting the parade this Saturday, September 19th. Though due to only a small number of float entries the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce decided last week to cancel the parade as well.

Instead of the parade through the streets of downtown Belgrade, they are having a virtual Fall Festival on their Facebook page.  Every day they will be posting new challenges and awarding a gift card from a local business to a lucky winner who comments.  Click the button below to go to their Facebook page to participate in the virtual Fall Festival.

The good news is that the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce stated they "are definitely planning on having Fall Festival next year."

Last year at the Belgrade Fall Festival it was dreary and rainy, but locals still came out to celebrate the tradition. See photos from last year below.
