Ballots for the 2019 Countywide Special and Municipal General Elections will be mailed to all active voters in Gallatin County on Wednesday, Oct. 16. Return postage for ballots is prepaid for this election.

Ballots must be received no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 5, in order to be counted. Postmarks cannot be accepted.

Ballots may be returned by mail or in-person at the ballot deposit locations provided on the instructions contained in the ballot packet.

Also contained in the ballot packet is the Ballot Interference Prevention Act registry form that must be used by any person who is collecting and depositing the ballot of another voter.

Within 30 days of an election, any person who wishes to register to vote or update their voter registration information must appear at the Gallatin County Election Department – 311 W. Main St., Room 210 in Bozeman.
