Emma Roberts Rejoins ‘American Horror Story’ For Season 7 ‘Cult’
Emma Roberts has been understandably scarce from American Horror Story in recent years, but with Scream Queens wailing its last, the Coven and Freak Show star is joining the Cult. Ryan Murphy confirms that Roberts will be back and “ready for action” in Season 7.
Murphy continued his Instagram habit of announcements with word that Roberts would return for American Horror Story: Cult in an unspecified role. Considering the specificity of the knife, we’d hope Roberts is actually filming a Season 7 role, and not out for some real-life revenge. You never know with Ryan Murphy.
Elsewhere of Season 7, now set for a September 5 premiere, Carrie Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd has also joined in a mysterious role, along with Lena Dunham, Allison Pill, Colton Haynes, comedian Billy Eichner and Popular alum Leslie Grossman. In addition to returning stars Frances Conroy, Mare Winningham, Cheyenne Jackson and Adina Porter, Season 7 might feature the return of several other characters from American Horror Story: Freak Show, while a separate upcoming season was said to bring together Murder House and Coven characters.
Season 7 will reveal further details soon, so watch the teasers below and stay tuned for the latest on American Horror Story: Cult.
