2019 Moonlight Music Fest Survival Guide

We've been there. We know tricks. The Moonlight Music Fest has shuttles, camping, hotel deals and LOTS of smaller tips to make your weekend flawless at altitude.

• Gates open 2 hours prior to the show each day.
• YES! THERE'S A BOZEMAN SHUTTLE! (it runs to Bobcat Stadium)
• Bring lots of small bills. That way vendors don't have to make a bunch of change, tipping is easy, etc...
• DON'T MISS SATURDAY AT NOON - a Zydeco Party with FREE beads and gumbo for the first 300 into the festival.
• PACK AS LIGHTLY AS POSSIBLE - yes, you can bring a small bag but don't hold up security with all your stuff that has to be searched.
• Shuttles run constantly between Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Music Fest. All attendees must travel by shuttle to reach the festival grounds.

• Wristbands are required to enter the festival grounds. You can leave and reenter as long as your wristband is securely attached.
• All bags and backpacks will be checked by as you enter the festival grounds.
• No outside food and beverage or coolers are allowed inside the festival.
• A valid ID is required to buy alcoholic beverages in the festival.
• Empty reusable water bottles are allowed and water filling stations will be provided. No glass bottles. Souvenir bottles are available at the merch tent.
• Venue is outside with limited areas for shelter. Shows will go on rain or shine unless weather conditions are deemed too dangerous.
• Chairs or blankets are welcome and need to be removed each night. Souvenir Cozy Creek chairs will be available at the merch tent.
• Umbrellas, shade tents, and tall chairs may be set up in the rear of the festival grounds behind all the blankets and chairs, and need to be removed each night.
• Mountain weather is unpredictable; come prepared with layers for sun, wind, rain, and cool evenings. Souvenir blankets and sweatshirts will be available for purchase at the merch tent.
• An ATM is available in the festival grounds (but we like to be prepared with tons of small bills BEFORE YOU GO. Food, drinks, tips, whatever...)
• No firearms or knives over 3” are permitted in the festival grounds.
• For forest fire prevention, No smoking or open fires are allowed in the festival lawn area. Smoking is permitted in food truck area on the gravel lot, please make sure all cigarettes are out and properly disposed of.
