So I am getting ready to trek home for Christmas next week in my car and I wanted to make sure everything was good to go on the freeway.  I had a notion something was wrong with my car because every time I drove above 40 MPH my left-front tire felt like it was wobbling.  In my mind I thought it might just need to be rebalanced.  So yesterday morning I went to a fine auto care shop and asked them to take a look at at.

15 minutes later this nice gentleman comes out and asks"Have you slammed on your brakes recently?" and I went, "Well like a month ago when we first got all that snow." I don't have snow tires and almost hit someone cause it was slick.  The mechanic looks at me and goes "I am surprised you haven't been in a crash and/or injured.  Your both front tires are separated."

Apparently when I slammed on my brakes the lining of my tires on the inside (which I cannot see) came apart and at any moment my tires could have flown off my car....scary stuff.  But my car is good now, I had to buy two new tires and I am good to go home.

So if you ever feel like something is wrong with your car get it checked out because it might make the difference between life or injury.
