Lifetime is reportedly developing an autobiographical drama based on 23-year-old Selena Gomez’s quick rise to fame, despite the fact that she likely has a fair amount of story still left in her.

Gomez will reportedly executive produce the scripted drama, according to a report from Deadline, along with Kevin Spacey and Dana Brunetti. There is currently no writer attached to the project, which will focus on Gomez’s life in Hollywood and will be shot from the perspective of those she considers her closest friends.

The developing drama is already being compared to Entourage — which was loosely based on Mark Wahlberg’s experiences as a young actor — despite having no script, working title or cast (Selena is reportedly not slated to star in the project). There's also no word as to which specific aspects of Gomez's life and career it'll focus on, but luckily, there's quite a bit to choose from that should make for quality entertainment, so at least the source material is plentiful.

Will it be about her stint on Barney and Friends with former best friend Demi Lovato? What about her tumultuous and seemingly unending romance with Justin Bieber? Will it touch on her struggle with the autoimmune disease, lupus? What about her supposed stint in rehab? Will a Taylor Swift-like character make an appearance? Let us know your thoughts on this forthcoming Selena Gomez drama -- and whether you think it could wait a few more years -- in the comments below.
