New Bill Could Make It a Crime to Upload Lip-Synced Videos [VIDEO]

Sure, gas prices are high and people are hurting for jobs, but Congress wants to put a stop to an issue that’s tearing this country apart.
That’s right – a new bill would make it illegal for people to upload videos of them lip-syncing their favorite songs.
If passed, hundreds of teenage girls would be forced to try and find a better way to show their admiration for Taylor Swift.
U.S. Senate bill 978 is part of an effort to tighten copyright laws, which means everyone from Grandpa to your six-year-old neighbor will no longer be able to post videos showing how well they know Eminem’s music.
Don’t think you’re above the law here, either, people. Those caught uploading videos could face up to five years in the slammer. If that happens, at least you’ll have plenty of time to write your own song, which you can upload without any worries when you’re released.
