Mother's Day is coming up fast and I thought I would share one of my favorite Mother's Day moments I had.

When I lived in Boise it was always hard to get home for Mother's Day, but now that I live in Bozeman, it's a nice little drive to see my folks every once in a while. Last year, though my sister, brother and I decided we were going to surprise our mom for Mother's Day and show up to our house unannounced. My sister flew in from Phoenix to Missoula, and I picked up her from the airport. We stayed the night in Missoula with a friend and then the day before Mother's Day we drove up our hometown and met up with my brother who our parents knew was going to swing by the house.

We hid in his car and we all walked in our house. My mom's reaction was priceless. She was just overcome with joy that we were all there and couldn't believe that we didn't tell her but was happy that we were there. My favorite part is when she said, "I need to go back to the grocery store and get more food." We all just started laughing.

Make sure you make this year's Mother's Day memorable.
