If you're not convinced about if you should see the new Planet of the Apes movie watch the new trailer and it may change your mind.  Also out this weekend The Change Up.  Watch the trailers for these movies and some movies out in limited release you can look forward to on DVD.

"Rise of the Planet of the Apes" (PG-13)

James Franco's new Alzheimer's drug has the side effect of boosting intelligence in chimps.  His first test subject lives with him as a member of the family . . . until they're forced to lock him up.  That's when he breaks out and starts an ape revolution.

"The Change-Up" (R)

Jason Bateman is a family man, and Ryan Reynolds is his bachelor best friend.  And in an incredibly original plot twist, they wake up one morning having switched bodies.  Leslie Mann plays Bateman's wife, and Olivia Wilde is his sexy co-worker.

"The Whistleblower" (R) (Limited)

Rachel Weisz plays an American cop in post-war Bosnia who discovers underage sex trafficking being covered up by the UN.  It's based on a true story and it also stars Monica Bellucci and Vanessa Redgrave.

"The Perfect Age of Rock 'N' Roll" (R) (Limited)

 

Kevin Zegers plays a rock star who reconnects with an old high school friend after his second album tanks.  The friend is played by Jason Ritter, and the two of them take a road trip together with Peter Fonda to salvage their music.
