Linkin Park and Transformers is a good combo I'm convinced of that. Although I love me some LP, I am a bit jealous that I know (well not for sure but in my mind I think and therefore assume) that they get to see the movies earlier than anyone.  MTV has talked with the LP camp about the  song they provided for the movie, and the music video their very own Joe Hahn directed to go along with the song. Seems that even they are not sure what the concept is about.

MTV.COM -"All I know about the concept is that [Linkin Park turntablist/frequent director] Joe Hahn sent me an e-mail that said something about 'In the valley of the blind, the one-eyed man is king,' or something like that," singer/rapper Mike Shinoda laughed. "And the next thing I know, I've got horns growing out of my shoulders, and I've got one blind eye, and I've got a white dog and a snake on a throne made of antlers. I think you'd have to ask Joe what that all means."

This isn't the first nor will it be the last far conceived video that the LP DJ has directed.  But the far-out concepts of the videos don't just go over well with the fans, the band like them as well.

"As we've gone on, the videos have gotten more abstract,"

Shinoda said. "[And] I kind of like that, I've been encouraging it with Joe, because ... the stuff that goes on in his head is really interesting and really fun, and I think it probably comes from the fact he grew up reading a lot of comics, watching anime, those things. Especially in a video like this, you can tell the influences are there."
