A Belgrade man pleaded not guilty in Gallatin County District Court Monday to accusations he raped two teen girls seven times.

Dustin Ray Heimbuch, 23, appeared before Judge Mike Salvagni in orange prison scrubs, where the judge continued his bail at $150,000. He was arrested last week.

Gallatin County detectives say Heimbuch raped one girl on six occasions between the summer of 2008 and fall of last year -- in campground trailers, in his vehicle in an abandoned east Bozeman parking lot and at his Belgrade home. The second girl reluctantly had sex with him at the request of the man's first victim, they allege. The first victim told her friend if she'd have sex with the man, he'd stop raping her.

On Monday, Salvagni told Heimbuch that, if convicted, he could be facing up to seven life sentences -- one for each count.
