Zack Snyder has been out of the spotlight since his exit from the Justice League movie following a shocking family tragedy, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been working on anything. Today, Snyder teased an upcoming short film, titled Snow Steam Iron, which was made with no budget, friends and family, and took just a weekend to shoot.

James Wan’s Aquaman hasn’t been plagued with any weird rumors or high-profile exits so far, and actually seems to be going, well, swimmingly. Wan has described the shoot as “super complicated,” even out of the water, but Aquaman seems to be in a league of its own. Which may be because it’s in practically a different world from the rest of the DCEU — or, as Wan apparently described it on set, “Star Wars underwater.”

Andres Muschietti is fast becoming a highly demanded director in Hollywod, especially after what looks like a big success with his It movie. Muschietti has signed on to direct a live-action adaptation of anime Robotech, and has said he wants to do Stephen King’s Pet Sematary next after he’s finished with It. Which might be sooner rather than later, as the director plans to start working on It 2 before touching anything else.
