Yellowstone Park Officials Figuring Out Rise in Bison Attacks
How about this for the policy? Don't go near the bison!
According to the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Yellowstone Park officials are trying to figure out how to stop the rise in bison attacks. There have been five so far this year. The yearly average is a little above one person.
The rules state that people should stay at least 25 yards away from the bison. Of course there are people that aren't that intelligent and responsible, so they think they can walk right up and take a selfie with the animal. Hey! These are wild creatures. They aren't domesticated like dogs or cats, and they aren't friendly. Wild creatures will defend themselves if they feels threatened. That is just a fact.
You would think after the first few attacks people would understand, but that never seems to happen. People don't respect the wild animals. Yes, there are many people who haven't been gored by the bison when taking a picture close to it, but it only takes one instance for that animal to change its mind and then we will see how you feel about that animal.
So what do you think? Hit us up on Facebook and Twitter. We want to know how you feel about this.
